Dr. Diana Broomfield is founder and CEO of Fertility Today Magazine (www.fertilitytoday.org), the nation’s most comprehensive, multidisciplinary fertility magazine that is written primarily by reproductive professionals and is dedicated solely to the education of the general public on this critical topic. Dr. Broomfield is also the founder of the Cancer Institute for Fertility Preservation, a non-profit organization which focuses on education, treatment and research of infertility in cancer patients.

Dr. Broomfield is in private practice in the Washington metropolitan area. Dr Broomfield is also an assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at George Washington University School of Medicine, assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Howard University and adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Her previous positions include Chief of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wright-Patterson Medical Center; assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, at Wright State University School of Medicine; Reproductive Endocrinologist Expert Medical Consultant to Armed Forces Medical Corps Command, in the United States Air Force. Dr. Broomfield dedicated thirteen years of service to the United States Air Force, and received several accommodations for her achievements.  As a Lieutenant Colonel she received her honorable discharge in October 2003.

A current MBA candidate at John Hopkins University, Dr. Broomfield received her Bachelor of Science degree from Loma Linda University in California. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and Valedictorian of her medical school class from Eugenio Mario De Hostos University School of Medicine in the Dominican Republic. Dr. Broomfield completed her internship at St. Louis University (Deaconess Hospital) and later completed her residency at Emory University School of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, Division of Human Reproduction. She holds the following board certifications: fellow, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology; fellow, Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility; Diplomate, American College of Ambulatory Medicine; and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Broomfield has authored many articles including a book chapter on male infertility. Dr Broomfield serves on the Board of Directors for the Tinina Q. Cade Foundation, Inc. and is an active member of many professional organizations.

Dr. Broomfield serves in her local church, the Miracle Temple Worship Center, as the leader of Beginners Sabbath School and Adventist Youth (AY) leader.  Dr. Broomfield is the eldest of six children born to Pastor and Mrs. Joshua Broomfield. Dr. Broomfield loves fashion, sewing and tennis. She is married to Dr. Darius Lecointe and they have 3 gifted children, James, Jován and Joiliana.
